EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER IN THE NEST

Hello! I'm Jade, you'll find me in The Nest, where I'll be covering for the lovely Jemma while she's on her Maternity leave!

I began studying Early Years in 2012, this involved me gaining experience with children by taking part in placement days at different settings which would change every six months, as well as writing many essays! I gained my experience by working with children at a school age, preschool/toddlers and also babies.

I joined Free Rangers in February 2014, where I first began as a student in the Den, where I had the chance to take part in regular Forest School Sessions with Ed, I loved watching the children learn, develop and take many risks! I had never seen children so excited to go outside!

In July 2014 I left and became a qualified Nursery Nurse! Within a few weeks I had an email from Gemma asking if I could do some cover work and of course, I said yes!

You'll find me up in the Nest caring for your little ones and making sure they enjoy the freedom of the outdoors as much as possible!

Favourite tree: Cherry Blossom

Favourite forest animal: Hedgehog
