We've recently had lots of new babies start with us up in the Nest! This is a very exciting time for not just the new babies and our older babies but for myself and Madi too!
In the Nest we like to follow our babies routines that they have at home, to make this a home from home experience for them. We do have a general routine that we like to follow during the course of the day, but this isn't a strict routine and can vary widely throughout the day.

Every baby has individual needs which myself and Madi will meet each day. Throughout the babies day in the Nest we take place in a wide range of activities. These activites are based around the babies interests that they have enjoyed at their last session at nursery.
For example: A baby maybe just beginning to stand by pulling themselves up onto different furniture - we then would decide on the next steps for the baby, such as climbing/pulling themselves onto different levels of furniture. We have many different resources that would be suitable to increase the babies climbing/standing skills such as, the toddle boxes. The toddle boxes are a great activity for the babies they're able to increase their confidence of balancing on different levels, explore different heights and textures of the toddle boxes.
In the Nest we like lots and lots of messy play!! (So please bring plently of spare clothes!) Also now that its beginning to get a bit chiller, please bring a waterproof coat!
All of the babies who have recently joined us are all getting on really well, and we are really please how well they have settled into the Nest! If you have any questions about your baby and how they're getting on, please ask!
