It’s quickly creeping up to being my 5th year of working at Free Rangers, which in itself is crazy because it feels like no time at all and I have thoroughly enjoyed every single moment.
From my student days in the Hive & Burrow, to working full time in the Den for the last 3 years, I’ve been a 1:1 to a few children and a Key Person to many, watching on (and crying lots!) whilst the children grow and make their way to school, making amazing memories here that they will treasure forever.
I too have brilliant memories; a favourite has to be our spontaneous summer walk to the Brook, although I didn’t enjoy the slow realisation that I had a hole in my welly, a little too late.
Come July, I will be making brand new memories over the summer, as my other half and I (well, mainly me, luckily for him!) will be bringing our own little baby boy into the world, and we couldn’t be more excited if we tried!
So from June and for a little while after, I won’t be at Free Rangers, but I’m 100% sure I will be back for visits before I return. Finally, I can give an explanation as to why my tummy is getting rather large!
The children in the Den have been lovely, asking me for updates regularly which is so sweet of them. They’re a fab bunch!
