SENCO COORDINATOR / EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER IN THE DEN
Hi, my name is Emma!
I began my career working at the Royal United Hospital in Bath as a Therapy Support Worker. I worked with children with complex special needs and their families within a team of Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists.
I spent a happy 15 years there before leaving to raise my own two pickles!
After searching high and low for a nursery setting for them, I came across Free Rangers. I was quickly able to see how much my own children grew, developed and loved the Forest School activities and the ethos of Free Rangers. It was not just childcare, it provided them with so many amazing opportunities and experiences and I was keen to have a play too!
I joined the Free Rangers team in 2017 and am really enjoying my role. I provide additional support to children in the Den to ensure that they are able to grow, learn and experience all of the fun things we do.
I am very proud to be part of a fully inclusive Forest School setting and just love watching the children as they develop as a part of this.
